Multimedia: Using Images in Blackboard

*Be sure to include a description for your images to assure ADA compliance.

Flickr Mashup tool provides a search and seamless way to add images. Access it by going to a content area and selecting Build Content>Flickr Photo. These photos are covered with a Creative Commons license.

Check copyright information for the image. Some images can be used freely and others require attribution. Contact the library to consult on copyright questions.

Shutterstock images are available. Search the site and send the ID numbers of the desired images to teaching@cscc.edu.
Images will be emailed from the Faculty Assistance Center.

Before uploading an image to Blackboard, optimize the size.
