Basics: Student Preview

This link will display a comparison chart of the Student View and Student Preview features.

To Enter the student preview mode:

•          Click the Student Preview icon.
•          The orange "Entering Student Preview" bar will load.
•          When a user is active in Student Preview, the orange bar below will be visible.

When using Student View, a demo student, the user appeared in Blackboard as zz_username. Student Preview also enrolls a user in the current course, creating a student account seen as username_previewuser.

Select “Exit Preview” at the top right of the Student Preview orange bar to exit Student Preview.

The choices are:

• Delete the preview users and all data (Recommended)
• Keep the preview user and all data
• Remember the choice and do not ask me again

Once a selection is made, the "Exiting Student Preview" message will be displayed, and the user will be returned to Instructor View.
