Basics: Creating an Export Package of a Course

A course export file contains all the files and design of a course. 

The export file is a zipped file that can only be restored in Blackboard.

To Create the Export Package:

 Go to Course Management>Packages and Utilities>Export/Archive Course

Select Export

Leave the File Attachment settings on default.

Select the "Select All" option and then Submit in the lower right corner of the screen.

An email will be sent when the zip file is ready.

To download the Export file:

Return to

Course Management>Packages and Utilities>Export/Archive Course

Locate the file and click on the name to download it to the computer.
