Respondus: Extracting a Test from Blackboard

The Testing Center and sometimes Disability Services require a paper copy of online tests.

Step 1

• Open Respondus.
• Select Retrieval and Reports.
• Select Retrieve Questions.
• Choose a Blackboard server and select Next.
• Select the course to retrieve the test from.
• Select the test.
• Enter a name for the new file.
• Select Next.
• File saved>Okay.
• Select Finish.

Step 2

Select Preview + Publish.

Select Print Options.

Choose the type of file needed. (Test, Test with Answer Key, Answer Key only)

Select Save to File to download the test as a Word document.
