Grade Center: Creating Grading Schemas

Grading schemas take the points scored on an item and compares it to the total points possible to derive a percentage. A default grading schema exists which can be edited to reflect the course syllabus.

  1. On the action bar, click Manage
  2. Select Grading Schemas
  3. Click the action link for the schema named Letter
  4. Select Edit
  5. Change any percentages and values in the table. Add and delete rows as needed.
  6. Click Submit

Note: The grading schema is included as an option in the Primary and Secondary Display menus when creating and editing columns in the Grade Center.
